MEDICAL DIRECTOR – FARZANA N. SAHI, MD

Dr. Farzana Sahi, MD, is an internal medicine specialist in Houston, Texas, and has been practicing adolescent and adult medicine for over 25 years. She believes in empowering her patients and partnering with them to find the best health solutions. She is passionate about evidence-based medicine and is fully committed to her patients’ health and well-being.
Dr. Sahi completed her internal medicine training at Ravenswood Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where she also served as chief resident. She is board-certified and is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Besides practicing as an internal medicine physician, Dr. Sahi serves as a civil surgeon designated by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and as a designated physician for Social Security disability consultative examinations for the state of Texas.
Dr. Sahi is actively involved in community service and teaching. She regularly volunteers her time at a community health clinic for indigent patients.
Dr. Sahi has been consistently rated highly by her patients. She has been a recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award. This honor is bestowed on caring physicians who have made a significant difference in the lives of their patients and received near-perfect scores, as voted by patients. She has also been recognized by her colleagues and received the Best Doctor award for 2017.

MANAGING PHYSICIAN: FAIYAZ A.BHOJANI, MD; DR.PH

Dr. Bhojani is trained in internal medicine at the State University of New York and in occupational and environmental health at the University of Texas, Houston. He has a master’s in occupational health and a doctorate in public health and epidemiology from the School of Public Health, University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Bhojani is actively involved in teaching and community service. He holds adjunct faculty positions at the UT School of Public Health (adjunct professor, epidemiology, human genetics, and environmental sciences) and Baylor College of Medicine.
He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and the American College of Preventive Medicine.
He regularly volunteers his time for various community health projects. He is a firm believer in prevention and partners with his patients to develop solutions for health and well-being.

ASSOCIATE PHYSICIAN: TUFAIL Q. SHAIKH, MD; MPH

Dr. Shaikh is board-certified in both occupational medicine and general preventive medicine and public health. He has an MPH in epidemiology from UCLA and an MS in preventive medicine from Ohio State University. He was a faculty member at the University of Texas Medical Branch from 1996 to 2006.
Since then, he has been self-employed and has worked as an occupational physician/medical director for large international corporations.
Currently, he is employed with Law Enforcement Medical Programs of the Federal Occupational Health (FOH).
